Branding tips from the England rugby coach
Stuart Lancaster gave a speech at a recent event about the challenges he’d faced as the new manager of a newly assembled England rugby team (with a lot of new faces in the squad). He needed to pull them into a unified team in the relatively short space of time before the 6 Nations, and he approached it from a lovely, lateral (and dare I say, brand-centric) perspective.

Can branding save the world?
Attending Future Foods the other week, some colleagues and I sampled jellyfish salad and chicken heart satay, learned about the nutritional possibilities of algae and explored our preconceptions around some non-traditional aspects of the food chain… specifically our food chain.

Lateral thinking in a can
Sometimes it just takes a different perspective to unlock the potential of something. Grocery shopping the other day, I looked properly at the tuna tin section for the first time in a long time – my periodic, half-hearted attempt to try and work out the difference between ‘chunks’ and ‘steak’ rarely bears fruit; they always seem to look the same when you open them.
