eBay keeps a good thing going

In a world where buyers breathe new life into unwanted stuff, here’s a great new launch from eBay to help their customers along when it comes to sellers packaging the goods they are shipping off to new homes. The ‘eBay Box‘ is a branded reusable box in 3 sizes that is being distributed to sellers for a trial.
eBay customers are pretty resourceful anyway, so will likely find this a really helpful tool; others should welcome the prompt to reuse because of the messaging on-pack and everyone can enjoy the stories of where the pack has been previously. It’s a bit like getting a postcard! Benefits for the brand? It helps build the community spirit and customer-to-customer relationship that this brand enjoys – via the on-pack graphics and on-line tracker – and also keeps the eBay brand prominent in transit.
True to the current drive for co-designing and co-developing ideas to increase ownership and motivation, the eBay Box is born out of a successful employee innovation scheme that nurtures ideas born from people who live with the brand on a day-to-day basis.
