Friday Favourites
These beautiful but mysterious sculptures created from paper were found in libraries and theatres in Scotland earlier this year. They were all sculpted from books, and left with similar but individual messages to the Twitter addresses of each establishment. For example the one left in the Filmhouse read: ‘This is for you in support of libraries, books, ideas and….all things magic’. They were left in the Scottish Poetry Library, the National Library of Scotland, the Filmhouse Cinema, the Scottish Storytelling Centre, and the Edinburgh International Book Festival. Here are a few pics but you can read more about it on Central Station’s site. Thanks to James for finding this one.
Dan found this genius idea for a Christmas card in his snack box from Graze this week. This nice little kit lets you create and dress your own snowman 3D Christmas card. Love it.

I love this stunning wedding dress from Emmanuelle Moureaux, for this year’s DesignTide Tokyo. It has been created using five hundred spiky wire baubles, and I love the use of white to create the flouncy effect of traditional wedding dress fabric. Found via Lost at E Minor.
