Seeing as it’s almost Christmas, Jade spied a seasonal photography story that we just had to share this week. Danelle Manthey’s 2003 project, Christmas USA, was originally a series of photographs capturing people in her hometown of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, with their Christmas Lights. Danelle explains, “The streets have names like Candy Cane Lane, Church Lane and Penguin Lane, and all of the houses are decorated in the particular theme of that street.” Danelle’s project has since grown and she has spent 10 years shooting similar scenes across 12 states.
