In the fiercely competitive world of whisky, gift packs are
crucial. Diageo's Johnnie Walker brand is renowned for being
progressive and its gifting offer needed to reflect that reputation
more clearly. We were asked to boost sales and visibility with
global appeal and to create the ultimate expression of the liquid's
rich and explosive flavours.
In-keeping with Johnnie Walker's pioneering spirit, we
collaborated with inspirational photographer, Marcel Christ. The
result is stunning images, which combine with texture, colour and
form to evoke a bold flavour explosion and break the whisky
category's mould. This contemporary and eye-catching gift packaging
delivers a real experience and boosted orders by market by 47% on
the previous year. With no increase in production costs and greater
recyclability, it's no surprise that this is the brand's most
taken-up design to date.
