Supporting SOSD – Gong Xi Fa Cai from all of us at Design Bridge Singapore

As part of the annual Chinese New Year celebrations in our Singapore Studio (read more about those here), we have a tradition of sending a small token of appreciation to our clients, wishing them well for the New Year and thanking them for their support.

This year, to usher in the Year of the Dog, we decided to do something a little different to give back to the community.

Instead of spending money to craft a dog-themed gift, we have decided to make a donation to SOSD on behalf of our clients. SOSD is a Singapore volunteer-run shelter, which aims to rescue, rehabilitate and re-home stray dogs, providing them with a second chance at life. This has, in turn, inspired many of our own employees to make personal contributions towards the cause, too.

As part of the initiative we also gathered our lovely studio dogs – Bella, Raffles, Tinker, Joy and Baby – to stamp their paw prints onto our Chinese New Year greetings card. The card was specially designed to thank our clients for helping our fellow furry friends at SOSD. In all honesty, making all of that happen was really chaotic, but a lot of fun indeed!

You can catch them in action in our “behind-the-scenes” clip below, introduced by our MD, Jo Tay:
