This week we’re having a bit of a headphones moment for our WWLTTW playlist. And by that I mean that I have taken a sneaky peek at the “friend activity” list on Spotify to see what some of my fellow DB colleagues are listening to at their desks. So if you’ve ever wondered what people are tapping their toes and nodding their heads to as they refine their designs and work on proposals, now is your chance to find out.
To start the week I’m spying on the London Studio floor, and Johnny Bateman (of DB Band Jam fame) is currently listening to Rufio – Still. If you’re into Californian pop punk, this one is for you:
Next in the list is Aaron, aka DJ A-Train (remember him from a few WWLTTW’s ago?), who is tuned in to Bloc Party – Like Eating Glass:
Also in the London Studio, Ash is plugged in to The Avalanches – Frankie Sinatra. We’ll be hearing more musical choices from Ash on WWLTTW soon…
Heading down the stairs to IT and Jeff is quietly listening to Don Henley – The Boys Of Summer. Listen to this to remind yourself that there is sunshine and warm weather somewhere in the world…
…such as in Singapore, where you’ll find Amanda plugged in to The Chainsmokers – Roses and Yvonne, who has Kartell – 5 A.M in her ears:
Back to Europe, and Djanira (Office Manager at DB Amsterdam) might well be preparing herself for a night out on the town by listening to Knightlife – Don’t Stop, whilst Richard takes the pace down a notch with Pearl Jam – Off He Goes. It’s all about balance.
Back in London, and in the DB Brand Team/Business Development corner (my corner) we’re having a radio moment. Currently on our radio: The Smiths – What Difference Does It Make?
The final musical moment this week comes from the London Client Servicing Team’s “cstmashup” playlist, which is piping out the very chilled Bonobo – Figures across the CST floor. No headphones in sight today. Enjoy!
Normal WWLTTW service will (more than likely) resume next week.
