The decorations are up, the presents are wrapped and the parties have started – the festive period is well and truly underway at Design Bridge.
Come and visit our London Studio this month and you’ll be warmly greeted in reception by our GIANT advent calendar…
Inspired by our lovingly designed Cadbury Christmas range – featuring our newly jollified Santa – our version of the iconic Cadbury Advent Calendar was handmade by our Workshop elves. But it’s not just about opening the doors to find out what treats are inside (as demonstrated here by Alice). We’ve been selling raffle tickets and, each day at 3pm, a lucky winner is chosen to open a door and win a prize, with the proceeds of the tickets going to Save The Children. So far we’ve raised over £600 and there’s still time to raise even more.
But that’s not all. Look closely at our reception Christmas tree and you’ll spot that the baubles aren’t what they first seem… these are Lipton Christmas tea-filled baubles, designed by us!
If you do find yourself with time to kill in London, we’d highly recommend a visit to the iconic Fortnum & Mason store in Piccadilly to check out this year’s incredible window display, as featured on Creative Review:
We’re rather proud that this year’s Fortnum’s Christmas experience was inspired by our collaboration with illustrator Kristjana S Williams for the Fortnum & Mason Christmas range packaging. Our design idea puts a special Christmas twist on Kristjana’s signature vibrant, eclectic illustrations and celebrates the products in a nostalgic yet contemporary way. You can find out more about the work here.
Speaking of twists, our new favourite seasonal tipple is Smirnoff Peppermint Twist – a Limited Edition peppermint vodka designed by our Smirnoff team. Scratch the frosted ink stripes and you’ll release a cool, peppermint scent…
This is exclusively on sale in the USA (sorry readers), although we did hear that there might be one or two hiding behind the doors of the Advent Calendar…
Wishing all of our clients, collaborators and friends a very merry Christmas, season’s greetings and happy holidays!
