Based in the Netherlands but operating all over the world through an international education programme, we’ve been working with Dance4Life for over 10 years in our Amsterdam Studio to help evolve the brand identity and communications, and support campaign activities. A non-profit organisation dedicated to empowering young people, Dance4Life promotes safe sexual choices and aims to provide people with the knowledge, skills and confidence they need to protect their health.
Vocal on topics that include sexual health rights and gender-based violence, Pride Amsterdam is a key event for the Dance4Life team. This year we were honoured to be invited to set sail on Dance4Life’s boat in the official Pride Canal Parade, supporting their mission and raising awareness for the latest campaign #IKBEPAALZELF, which translates as “I DECIDE”. This campaign is all about educating and empowering young people to make their own choices: I decide who I love, I decide myself with whom I have sex, I decide how I look.
An amazing experience for a very worthwhile cause, we are proud to continue our support for Dance4Life, and if you want to find out more about their mission and how you can get involved visit dance4life.com.
You can see more from Dance4Life’s Pride activities (and see if you can spot DB’s Yvonne Eng-Hall on the boat!) in their film below:
Special thanks to Ingrid and Yvonne for sharing this story.
