An annual celebration of the very best in packaging design around the world, the Pentawards Gala Ceremony is a date firmly set in our diaries each year. Of course in 2020 things are a bit different and, without the opportunity to all gather together physically, this year we settled in to watch the live broadcast on Zoom and find out who had won the coveted 2020 awards.
We had five projects shortlisted for awards this year, and we’re very happy to share that all five received an award!
Fresh from picking up a Wood Pencil at the recent D&AD Awards, we received a Gold for our work on the Cadbury Wordless project, a collaboration with VCCP London to raise awareness for Age UK’s campaign tackling loneliness in older people.
Bold, simple and delivering maximum impact on shelf, this is design for purpose that speaks louder than words, and we are delighted to see it recognised at D&AD and Pentawards. Congratulations to Team Cadbury!
Our London Studio also picked up three Bronze Pentawards: our rebrand and packaging design for Durex (which you’ll find more about here), our collaboration with pioneering sustainable D2C period product subscription brand Callaly, and the exquisitely crafted packaging design for Fortnum & Mason‘s range of caramels, pralines and ganaches, created especially for adventurous and inquisitive chocolate lovers…
The Design Bridge Singapore team also have an excellent reason to celebrate today as they have picked up a Bronze for their innovative interactive packaging for the Shangri-La Hotel Group’s Constellation Collection mooncakes!
Congratulations to all of our teams, clients and collaborators, we couldn’t be prouder of you all.
And if that wasn’t enough good news for the week, we also learnt that our collaboration with long term partners Diageo on the Tanqueray No. TEN Citrus Heart Edition has won a Silver in the ‘New SKU or Range Extension’ category at this year’s International Spirits Challenge Design & Packaging Awards – congratulations to Team Tanqueray!
