Whilst December may feel like a decade ago now, just before Christmas last year we teamed up with the wonderful Frances Quinn (Great British Bake Off winner in 2013) for a very special Cadbury collaboration: creating 10 new recipes using Mini Eggs and Mini Creme Eggs. Towards the end of 2019 we spent a choc-filled day with Frances shooting (and taste testing) these Easter creations, which we were finally able to share last week!
With so many keen bakers, and plenty of people with kids (both big and small) to keep entertained at home at the moment, we shared the recipes with the team and challenged them to give them a go over the Easter holidays – or to improvise, if they couldn’t get hold of all the ingredients (although chocolate is DEFINITELY an essential item for us). Here’s what they whipped up…
The Mini Eggs Chocky Sticks proved a popular choice in Belinda, Claire R, Keely and Charlotte L’s households…
Hannah M and Craig both tackled the Mini Eggs Cookies recipe…
A batch of rocky road AND brownies were cooked up in Ella’s kitchen…
Whilst over in the Sherwood and Rytterstig homes, Cadbury Easter treats were used to decorate delicious cakes…
And Mr Helps? Well, Mr Helps had an Easter mug eggsplosion…
You can find the recipes + all of our photos and video tutorials with Frances on Cadbury UK’s Pinterest – Mini Eggs here, Mini Creme Eggs here – perfect for using up any leftover Easter treats (if you’ve not scoffed them all already).
We hope you all had a lovely, sun-filled Easter weekend. Stay safe.
