Bringing a little bit of light into the beginning of the year, we are delighted to share that we have picked up three awards at the Transform Asia Awards 2020, which were announced during a virtual ceremony on 14th January 2021.
First up was an incredible Gold award for our Shanghai Studio’s work rebranding hotel chain JEN by Shangri-La. At the heart of our new visual identity is an innovative dual-language logo that speaks to both Chinese and English travellers, and we’re proud to see the work recognised as the Best Use of Typography winner.
Our new JEN by Shangri-La branding scheme was also awarded a Bronze in the Best Visual Identity from the sports, travel, leisure and tourism sector category, which means a double celebration for our Shanghai team! You can find out (and see) more in our case study.
Our Singapore Studio are also celebrating this week after being awarded a Bronze in the Best Visual Identity from the food and beverage sector category for the team’s work with Hong Kong craft beer brand YAU. Bold, vibrant design rooted in the unique bar culture of HK and the people who drink there, this redesign has transformed YAU into a brand that truly stands out from the crowd, and you can find out all about it in our case study.
Congratulations to Team JEN and Team YAU, and to all of the others winners this year – you’ll find a full list on the Transform website.
