We’ve been collaborating with the amazing team at Beauty Banks – a UK-based grassroots, people-powered movement that is like food banks but with personal care products and toiletries – for a while now, and today we’re proud to share our latest work together for their new campaign: #HELLYESNHS
Off the back of raising over £93k in 2 weeks for their #HELPINGHANDS campaign to supply personal care essentials to vulnerable people in the UK during the Covid-19 outbreak, Beauty Banks have now joined (virtual) hands with the NHS to also supply frontline key workers with much-needed products.
Jo Jones, co-founder of Beauty Banks, explained, “Key workers tell us their hands are red raw and ‘like ribbons’. They are working long hours and their bodies are exhausted. Self-care time is limited but when it presents itself we will make sure, as best we can, that access to products that create a joyful bit of respite – that heal, soothe and restore will provide a much-needed treat.”
To support this incredible initiative we came up with a series of bold campaign messages and created a new set of static and animated visual assets for Beauty Banks to use to help spread the word, encouraging people and brands to take action.
There are lots of meaningful details woven into the designs of our Giphy stickers (above) such as the coin with a ‘£’ sign, which is heart-shaped to reflect that every donation – no matter how big or small – really counts, and the activist-inspired boards have been animated to the chant of “Hell yes, NHS”.
If you want to get involved and show your support, there are a few things you can do:
Stay safe, stay healthy, and keep on doing beautiful things for those around you.
