The new brand for RHS
The RHS is the world’s leading gardening charity aiming to enrich everyone’s life through plants and make the UK a greener and more beautiful place. But, despite the important work and lasting impact of the RHS, its branding visually lacked pride and presence amongst other UK heritage organisations.
Our London Studio strived to change this perception, enabling the charity to tell its story clearly and compellingly, helping it stand out and raise awareness of the work they do.
Tasked with injecting joy and colour into the previously sedate and inconsistent branding of the 200-year-old charity, we utilised the design idea, ‘The limitless wonder of growth’, and designed visuals that consistently evolve and transform by layering textures, vibrant seasonal colour palettes and a mix of historical botanical illustrations and typefaces alongside new moving imagery across all of their communications.
And that’s not all – we saw our designs captured in an image with none other than The Queen on her visit to the famous Chelsea Flower Show, sitting with Keith Weed, President of the RHS and long-standing friend of Design Bridge and Partners.
