The Archer School for Girls was founded with a mission to empower young women to discover their passions and realise their true potential in an environment that is both ambitious and joyful. Ever since, Archer has provided an intentional, iterative, educational space for girls that balances the best of traditional school with emerging, research-based approaches, to equip Archer girls with the fearlessness, compassion and resilience to pursue their own brilliance. We created a brand that extends its uniquely impactful work far beyond its gates. One that seamlessly blends inspiration from Archer’s classical founding story and its modern, dynamic perspective on education and success.

We took inspiration from the story of Artemis—Greek Goddess of the Hunt, an archer and protector of girls—that is part of Archer’s founding legacy. This sparked the idea of Archer as an “aegis” for girls pursuing their striking brilliance, reflecting how Archer fosters an intentional and secure environment where girls thrive while learning.
Artemis herself takes the helm of the visual identity aiming at a star, just as every Archer girl has her own star. The ever-changing moving logo and contemporary iconography, incorporating constellation elements, is a nod to Archer’s iterative approach—always researching, reflecting, adapting—while giving Archer girls the power to make the identity their own.


Hidden in plain sight, the presence of “HER” in ‘Archer’ unlocked an ownable opportunity to combine the wordmark in an ultra-modern way with female empowerment messages in brand communications.
Archer girls have taken the intentionally flexible identity and made it their own on sold out merchandise; they are using language from the brand values, purpose and tagline out loud as mottos and affirmations that further reinforce the unshakeable confidence their time and self-exploration at Archer gives them.



With Archer’s innovative spirit and story as our foundation, we built a brand that breaks the limits of its category, distinguishing Archer boldly from traditional fellow schools in Los Angeles and making it a brand worthy of the world stage as a contributor to critical, global conversations about the wellbeing of girls and women.
